sunlight breaks through the clouds after days of gloomy weather

ducks, geese, pugs, oh my!

went for a walk with the hubby yesterday and saw a plethora of animals. everything from baby grebes (omg they were so cute), to blackbirds, ducks, magpies, and the geese babies in the pond by our house.

the geese by our pond. we stood and watched for a bit and it was so cute to hear them nip at the grass. there were 4 pairs and way too many babies to count


more geese and a milkweed(?). whatever it was, it stunk and the stalk must have been an inch thick.


and can't forget the obligatory cute pug pics. maggie likes to sit at our feet, holding something. usually its one of her hoofs, but can include other chewies or her squeaky toys. just sitting there in her pug porno froggiebottom pose.
