just some pics from the last day or two...

starting off with a shot as evening fell last night...


then while i waited for the hubby to run an errand, i wandered around the building and took a few shots.

for our easter get together we met at my nieces house just over an hour away. had some ham, hashbrown casserole, lots of desserts, some wine, some conversation and trivia pursuit (most evil game created. evah. btw). got a few pictures, most taken on the way home as on the way there it was just a bit too cloudy out...

picture of Eddie (another nieces' dog). eddie was a lil nut and did not like to stop for a moment to have his picture taken. finally the lure of dangling ham got him to stop for that precious second.

saw so many shots that i wish i could have taken, but there is always things, like it went by too fast, camera too slow, just wasn't ready. :(

i went shopping this eve and as i waited for my girlfriend to come by i snapped this. kay not the greatest shot ever but it was flying away over the mall hehe

tasty treats...

well after being extremely sick for 3 weeks i finally felt like doing something today...so prepared some cupcakes for work tomorrow. (we are having a bakery potluck. mmmmm.) i made chocolate overdose cupcakes. devils food cake with chocolate chips, i took two mini-kisses and put them in the middle, fluffy chocolate icing, sprinkles and another mini-kiss, all tucked into a pretty gold cupcake wrapper...





then i made salsa.... man it just kicks ass all over! just enough heat (jalapenos, green chilli, and a red chilli), all limey, salty, tasty treat. though i think next time i may take half the tomatoes and puree them to make it a bit saucey.



(i also have a apple cream pie baking, but its still in the oven hehe (also for work tomorrow).)

and because i thought it was so pretty i took a picture of my new potted mum ;D



and that ends a relaxing day.... sitting back with some nachos & salsa and some shrimp & seafood sauce. sloshing it all down with the new Cherry Citrus Fresca. supper of champions!
