vacation pictures - by digicam...

here comes a slew of pictures!! had bibliovixen come for a visit. we've been having a blast and have dragged her all over the city, filled her with all sorts of food, treated her to a thanksgiving dinner (we are canadian remember hehe), and took her to one of the tourist traps, Jasper. Jasper is about 3 1/2 hours away (without the multiple stops to feed and walk the dogs, rest breaks for the humans type of thing) and is a wee hamlet nestled in the mountains. Redolent of chalets, full of cute shops, with wildlife walking right through town, its a great place to visit and see the sights.


First stop right after the pickup at the airport was the yarn shop to fulfill bibliovixens yarn lust, then we gave her a brief tour of the city, touring the university campus then showed her the college, and had a zip around the legislature grounds and through the river valley.

THE YARN STOPS

the museum was quite nice, with the outside being as nice as the inside. i had to take a picture of the beaks for my corvid lover friends.
